Calcium carbonate and kaolin clay allows for oil absorption from the surface of the skin without drawing moisture away from the skin. Calcium helps to clear blemished skin and revitalizes lifeless looking skin. And kaolin clay is soothing and gives a light feel to the makeup without being cakey.
Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide provide sun protection and anti-inflammatory benefits.
Boron Nitride has natural anti-bacterial properties.
Mica's light reflecting qualities help to diminish lines and skin imperfections. Iron oxides provide the pigments to achieve natural foundation colors.

Starchy ingredients like corn, arrowroot, rice, or even silk powders may seem harmless, but they can actually feed acne-causing bacteria. That’s why we never use starches of any kind in our mineral foundation formulas.

We also avoid bismuth oxychloride, a known skin irritant that can cause microscopic tears, leading to inflammation and even cystic breakouts. You won’t find talc or magnesium myristate in our products either. Talc is a known irritant, and magnesium myristate is a fatty acid rated 3–4 on the comedogenicity scale (translation: it can clog your pores).
Instead, we use Boron Nitride—a clean alternative that improves wear and glide without causing breakouts.

3. Swirl and Tap: Take a kabuki brush or a dense powder brush and swirl it in the lid to pick up the mineral powder. Tap off any excess powder by gently tapping the brush against the lid or the edge of the jar.

4. Buff onto Skin: Starting from the center of your face (cheeks or forehead), buff the mineral foundation onto your skin using circular motions. Blend outward towards your hairline, jawline, and neck for a seamless finish.

5. Build Coverage: For more coverage, repeat the application process until you achieve the desired coverage level. iamgreenminded Loose Mineral Foundation allows you to build coverage without looking heavy.

Concealer (Optional): If needed, apply MSM Concealer before or after applying the mineral foundation to cover any imperfections or Bright Eyes for dark circles.
